In addition to the issuance of a notice of infraction, a police officer may order the impoundment or removal to a place of safety of any vehicle found in violation of the provisions of a closure or parking restriction order. For purposes of this chapter, a “place of safety” includes the business location of a registered towing operator. Notice of the removal or impoundment of a vehicle shall be given in accordance with RCW 46.52.190. (Ord. 695 §1 (part), 1984).
