Meter consumers may be required to make a cash deposit with the water department, based upon the estimate of the monthly consumption upon the estimate of one month’s consumption through the meter. The deposit shall be held by the water department until the severance of the contract, and shall be repaid to the customer after all claims against the premises have been fully paid.

Deposits for bimonthly customers, when required, shall be based upon the estimate of the bimonthly consumption. (Ord. 1294 §1, 2007).
