A six-month extension of an approval made pursuant to LMC 14.23.050 may be granted by the department of community and economic development upon written request filed at least thirty days prior to expiration of such approval. Before an extension is granted, the director of community and economic development may require updated plans if the proposal changes in scope or if the applicant failed to follow the terms of the design review approval.
