There is levied and there shall be collected from every person a tax for the act or privilege of engaging within the city of Lacey in any one or more of the public utility businesses defined in LMC 3.01.020. The tax shall be equal to the gross income of the business multiplied by the rates set out in LMC 3.01.040. (Ord. 749 §1 (part), 1985).
