For the purpose of this chapter, the term “garage sale” shall include yard sales, patio sales, rummage sales, or other similar sales of twenty or more miscellaneous used household items, and which is advertised for the general public to attend. This definition is not meant to include new handcrafted items by the sponsor of the sale. (Ord. 373 (part), 1975).
