This chapter shall apply to all lots or parcels on which wetlands and/or wetland buffers are located within the jurisdiction of the city of Lacey. The approximate location and extent of wetlands in the city of Lacey is displayed on the city zoning map and wetland maps based upon National Wetland Inventory maps and local aerial photograph studies. The city zoning map and inventory maps are to be used as a guide to the general location and extent of wetlands. Wetlands not shown on the zoning map or National Wetlands Inventory are presumed to exist in the city of Lacey and are protected under all the provisions of this chapter. In the event that any of the wetland designations shown on the maps conflict with the criteria set forth in this chapter the criteria shall control.
