An applicant for a license called for herein shall be considered to consent as a condition of receiving such license to inspection by the Chief of Police or the Director of Finance or their designees during hours when such businesses are open. The purpose of such inspection shall be to determine if the licensed premises is operated in accordance with the requirements of this chapter. It is hereby expressly declared that unannounced inspections are necessary to ensure compliance with this chapter. (Ord. 991 §1, 1994).
