No person shall physically interfere with the activity of a public event in a manner which disrupts the activity or causes participants therein to be seriously distracted from their performance. For purposes of this section, “activity” shall include any parade, procession, race, game, exhibition or similar activity which is conducted on a public street or streets and is a scheduled part of a public event. The term “public event” shall be defined as set forth in Section 10.15.010 of this code. Any violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor. (Ord. 695 §2, 1984).
